Our family had the most amazing experience on the sunset Segway tour it was the such a good tour and the perfect way to see Uluru. Our guide Brandon made the tour that much more enjoyable with his sense of humour and Witt, he was super informative and respectful of the indigenous culture and community, really friendly, gave good instruction, and pointed out the best views. As we had never been on a Segway before we were all really nervous but both Brandon and Dan were super encouraging and patient with all of us and calmed our nerves with a little training course and after a minute or so it felt like we were pros. I Would definitely recommend booking the Segway tour if visiting Uluru. We had so many laughs on the tour and got some really great picture. It was the highlight of our trip. This was a truly humbling experience, to be able to come close to Uluru on a segway! Our tour guide Daniel is a lovely bloke, very friendly and knowledgeable. He’s really accomodating, made the experience more relaxed as we were quiet hesitant at first to use the segway, but it was so easy to use, my 74 year old mum had a grand time on it! Oh my - absolutely so much fun!!! I have done this tour a couple of times, and love love love it. You can get up close and personal with the Rock, as well as learn about the Anangu Tjukupa stories and see the Tjukuritja evidence. On this tour, we finished at the old climb site and watched the sunset on the rock.847UN 2022-04-08
This tour allows you to see Uluṟu close up, including the protected side which is a revelation. Full training and safety wear is provided. Our group took about 10 mins to become acquainted and confident. Then it is an enjoyable trip around the rock stopping here and there at places of interest, like rock formations with special significance and beautiful waterholes and indigenous rock art. The flora also changes as you round the rock. Daniel our guide enriched the experience with useful training, safety guidance, indigenous stories and geological information. Loved it! Absolutely loved this tour! Daniel was a brilliant guide, very informative. I was a little hesitant as I've never ridden a Segway before but it was super easy. They give you some really good instructions to start with and there is a little practise track before you head off. The base of Uluru is over 10km so it's a much more time effective and fun way to go around the base of it. You stop along the way for the guide to tell you different stories and facts about the cultural, spiritual and significance of the site. Had the best time was a good experience my highlight of the day was when i tryed to do a TikTok on the Segway and fell over and everyone looked over at me I was so shame all I did was laugh 😂 but the tour fella I am pretty sure hes name was Daniel I think but he was the best he explained everything very well got to learn some amazing story from the First Nation people I just loved it would recommend doing it 1000s times again just want to thank the segway people and the tour fella for a good dayJumpinjackblake 2021-08-17

We did the sunset tour on the Segways at the end of April 2022. Brandon was our bus driver and tour guide. When we visited Uluru, we did the sunrise tour with this Segway company, and had such a great time first time around, we put doing the sunset tour on our "must do" list this time arouond. There were 12 of us on the sunset tour, good instruction and safety education, prior to setting off. My husband and I had a blast. Brandon provided a wonderful commentary on Uluru, and was very mindful of our safety at all times. Having the wonderful nibbles and drinks at the end of the tour watching the sunset over Uluru was spectacular. Thank you for a great afternoon/evening. Julie and Robert C.
